FASHIONS: BGN

Color Formulas
Existing Color: Natural Level 7
Formula 1: L'Oréal Blonde Studio Multi-Techniques Lightening Powder + 20-volume (6%) Créme Oxidant developer
Formula 2: DIA Light 10.21 + 9-volume (2.7%) DIA Activateur

Color Step-by-Step

Step 1 Create a crescent-shaped top section, starting just below the crown and extending to the hairline on each side.
Step 2 Separate a thin section of hair as shown.
Step 3 Place the hair in a V or chevron position to create a heavier application on the midshafts and ends. Using Formula 1, start at the ends and work your way up the woven section. Once you are past the midshaft area, begin to selectively paint the individual strands.
Step 4 Repeat this pattern throughout the top section. Avoid painting the lightener near the root area around the hairline.
Step 5 Lighten the woven strands to a uniform level 9. Rinse and shampoo the hair.
Step 6 Towel-dry the hair at the shampoo bowl. Apply Formula 2 throughout the hair. Emulsify the color and frequently check until the desired results are achieved.
