Hair:  Schwarzkopf Professional  Products: Schwarzkopf Professional

1-2. Firstly, take a center section from the front hairline through to the center back. Taking sections of the front at a right angle to the parting, we work around the natural contours of the head shape taking our internal shape shorter and gradually working our length towards the outline. These sections work from the front through the center back. It is vitally important to follow a strict sectioning procedure using the point of the scissors. This enables us to work correctly and technically throughout the haircut. Note: it is the use of the points of the scissors that takes the weight out of the sections. This allows us to retain the weight in the longer outer part of each section.
3. This sectioning and cutting design is used on both sides of the haircut in exactly the same way.
4. We now move to the front hairline lifting the sections out from the head shape reducing firstly the amount of weight from the fringe.
5. Then, we begin to take parallel sections overdirecting towards the center of the head.
6-7. Now, combing the hair into the desired shape, a free-hand cutting technique is used throughout the haircut to take out internal weight and length whilst retaining the overall perimeter length. Continue to gently slide out weight until the overall finished look is achieved. We are now ready to use Move Up Styling Transformation Lotion together with varying size rods which will support the hair cut and give added movement for approximately 6 - 8 weeks. A quick, yet highly effective way of getting superb style support.
8-9. The hair is first sectioned into a zigzag section around the perimeter in order to give a good blend from straight hair into textured hair. The idea behind Move Up Styling Transformation Lotion is to create movement and support within the haircut. Firstly, triangular sections are taken just below the zigzag section and a mixture of orange and pink rods are used. Each one directed in opposite ways to create conflicting root drag. This is in order to create a non-uniformed look. Below this first row a mixture of blue, red, and black rods are introduced amongst the larger ones. Through the top area of the haircut random texture is achieved by using a root perm technique using black rods only roots are permed.
10-14. 3 rods are placed on the crown area and then 5 more are placed randomly around the crown area. Once all the rods are in position, Move Up Styling Transformation Lotion is carefully applied using tissue and cotton wove to prevent lotion spillage. The lotion is then left to process according to the manufacturer's instructions for the correct time before finally being neutralized and styled.
