CUT 1. Separate a triangle section, beginning in the mid-occipital area. In the center of this section, and following the perimeter of the triangle, take a thin haircutting section and point-cut it to the desired length. Cut the entire loweroccipital area in the same manner. 2-4. Using the scissor-over-comb technique, point-cut the upper-occipital area at a 90º angle, following the curvature of the head. Moving to the parietal area, create a thin, vertical guideline. Comb and cut everything from the temporal hairline back to this guide. 5-7. Create a perimeter line throughout the head (shown). 8-9. Moving to the top of the head, comb everything straight up to a single guideline and point-cut the ends to the desired length. 10. Create a front perimeter by combing the top section forward and pointcutting the ends to the desired length. 11. Check and trim the cut to create the desired balance and texture.
