Wedding Style Tips

"When doing updos, I work with large bobby pins. For the base, I spray a super-hard hairspray directly on each base pin. (It takes about three seconds for the spray to become rock-hard.) This not only creates a super-strong base, but it also keeps me from having to apply heavy amounts of hairspray to the exterior of the style, which would make it look forced and artificial." For the Clean Cut collection, Gregson Gastar of Australia's Gastar Hair drew inspiration from1920's style looks, but he updated the clean, crisp styles by using modern cutting techniques such as the undercut method.

To create versatility for the wearer, Gastar left an accentuated length on the top of the head. He artistically managed to maintain the clean lines that were prevalent during the 1920's by showcasing blunt edges.
