Step 1 Brush the hair with a boar bristle brush until smooth. Make a deep side part and separate it into three sections-two front and one back. Put the back section in a ponytail.
Step 2 Place a hair pad on the center back of the head (right above the ponytail) and secure with bobby pins.
Step 3 Smooth and spread the ponytail over the hair pad and pin into place.
Step 4 Lightly mist the front-left section with hairspray and brush to smooth the hair back over the bun and pin.
Step 5 Split the larger, front section into two vertical sections. Tightly twist the back section and wrap over the bun and pin.
