"She had a flat top and her facial expression was incredibly intense. The statement that photo makes is so profound. I love it! I wanted to convey that same feeling with my collection," says Ali Deveraux. Bio: Ali Deveraux recently wrapped up the cosmetology program at Aveda (one of the Inspire Greatness Institutes) and is currently enrolled in the esthetician program. She hopes to attend the Makeup Forever Academy in New York, so that she can continue learning, growing and evolving.

"It was amazing to build shapes with these awesome textures and to show the contrast and dimension we felt that black and white film would suit the best," says Saltanat Asbury. Bio: Born in 1981 in the Central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan, Saltanat Asbury's family had a strong artistic background. Her father was a film director and her mother played the cello in the Kyrgyz Philharmonic Orchestra. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Kyrgyz National University, Asbury moved to The United States in 2002. Saltanat is currently completing the cosmetology program at Aveda Fredric's Institute. Her mission statement: Never stop learning.
