Throughout her career, Christine Schuster has made great contributions within education. Schuster makes a move into a newly created position as the Sr. Vice President, Education, L'Oreal Professional Products Division U.S. In her new role, Schuster will be responsible for the long-term strategic development of the education strategy for all PPD brands and SalonCentric. She will also work with each brand and SalonCentric on the day-to-day management of the education department.
Schuster has a strong background with Redken. Upon graduating cosmetology school at age 18, she relocated to Europe to work as a hairdresser. Schuster then joined Redken in 1991, working the Chicago market as a Redken District Sales Educator. Her unique abilities and passion for the community propelled Schuster through several positions including in 1993, Manager, International Education, in 1995 Director, Redken Exchange, in 1998 Sr. Director, Exchange, Shows, Events and in 1999, Schuster was appointed AVP, Redken Education Worldwide. Schuster's vision and strong strategic planning skills are what led to her appointment as Sr. V.P., Redken and Pureology Education Worldwide-a position she held up until this recent move. Under Schuster's remarkable leadership, Redken education has become the benchmark for advanced education.
