A-lister Claire Danes' messy yet elegant bun complemented the silhouette of her chic J. Mendel dress. Since the sexy dress featured a geometric neckline with hard lines, Danes' look required a soft, elegant hairstyle. Peter Butler, the star stylist from Wella Professionals created the look. What he envisioned was a modern-day Grace Kelly style.
To achieve this look, Butler blew out Danes' hair with Wella Professionals Extra Volume Mousse. Once her hair was completely dry, he curled her locks with a large barrel curling iron to create vavoom volume. Butler then pulled Danes' hair back into a high pony and wrapped it in a tight knot. Only two hair pins secured the chic look.
Lastly, Butler combed Danes' hair back with his fingers, which were coated with Wella Professionals Mirror Polish Shine Serum to create a soft sheen. A spritz of Wella Professionals Stay Essential hairspray provided extra hold that lasted all night long.
