Nautical Knot for Labor Day Weekend
Natasha Sunshine, Artistic Ambassador for Pureology, created this sweet nautical knot, which is perfect for last-chance summer celebrations. Easy and eye-catching!
The end of summer is always bittersweet -- but a hairstyle that makes the most of your clients` tresses and keeps them feeling cute and flirty for those final days of the season is pure sweetness. We checked in with Natasha Sunshine, Artistic Ambassador for Pureology, who showed us how to create a simple summer knot in five minutes or less. Perfect for those Labor Day BBQs!
1. Make sure you`re prepared with clear or elastic bands that match her hair texture. If she has thick hair, use extra-long bobby pins; otherwise, regular ones will do the trick!
2. Before beginning, apply a quarter-sized amount of Cuticle Polisher evenly from mid-shafts to ends. Then use a one-inch barrel curling iron on the last three inches to add polish to the tips.
3. Next, choose two pieces from each side, pull back and make a loose knot. Secure with a bobby pin. If she has thicker hair, crisscross your pins in an `X` for added security. (See below images for reference.)
4. Repeat the process, pulling two more side pieces back and creating another loose knot. Secure with bobby pins and add a blast of Strengthening Control Zero Dulling Hairspray for touchable hold. (See below images for reference.)
