The woman with a cropped cut has freed herself of the past. What a breath of fresh air!
1. The goal is a sleek bob. Start with freshly washed hair. Part hair on one side and work a generous amount of soft-hold mousse through to ends. Blow-dry the hair straight with a paddle-brush.
2. To get hair supersmooth, section off hair and start straightening from underneath. Pin the top section of your hair away from your face. Take sections approximately 2 inches wide, and slowly run through flat-iron, all the way to the ends.
3. For a professional look, use the flat-iron close to roots at a 90-degree angle. It's especially important to do this when straightening the top sections of hair, for the most professional polish possible.
4. Flat-iron bangs last, pulling gently to the side to give hair direction and movement. Rub a bit of shine serum on ends and lengths for finish and hold.
Work the flat-iron on thin sections close to the roots for super-smooth finish.
