Step 1: Divide hair into two at the back. Pick up a thin strand from the edge of the left strand, cross it over the whole left strand and add it to the right strand.

Step 2: Separate a thin strand on the right side and add it to the left strand crossing it over the right strand.

Step 3: Now the same separation of the strand on the left side but it crosses under the main left strand not above.

Step 4: The thin strand from the right is added to the left side by similar action- crossing it under the main right strand.

Step 5: Continue weaving the braid alternating the crossing of the strand- over and under.

Step 6: Secure the braid with a rubber band.
