How to do a Dutch braid (reverse French braid) hairstyle
Step 1: Separate a portion of hair from the top-center of the head and hairline. Divide it into three parts.
Step 2: Begin to weave a normal braid, but instead of placing the strands one over another, braid them underneath one another.
Step 3: Continue to weave a normal braid, but now with the tieback. To do this, place the right strand of braid under the middle, and then combine a section of loose hair from the right side with the right strand of braid.
Step 4: Place the left braid strand under the middle, and then combine a section of loose hair from the left side with the left braid strand.
Step 5: Continue to weave hair with the tieback on both sides until reaching the nape of the neck.
Step 6: Starting from the nape of the neck, braid the remaining hair in a normal, typical braid.
Step 7: Secure the braid with a rubber band at the end.
Step 8: Gently stretch and pull out each round of the braid to give overall braid more volume.
Step 9: Turn the braid inward towards the nape of the neck to create an asymmetrical bun and secure with pins.
