Existing Color: NB 7.0 with prelightened mid-lengths and ends
Formula A: Headpaint 9.7 (Very Light Brunette) + 9% Catalyst Creme Developer
Formula B: Headpaint 9.7 + Headpaint Shadows S3 (lowlights) + 6% Catalyst Creme Developer

Technique

Step 1. Divide the hair into seven sections.

Step 2. Starting at the nape of the neck and using Formula C, take vertical slices, leaving out fine sections of hair in between each foil. Moving up a section, take vertical slices in the opposite direction, alternating Formulas B and C and leaving out fine sections of hair in between each foil.
Step 3. Moving to the sides of the head and addressing the sections at the temples, alternate vertical slices of Formulas B and C, leaving out fine sections of hair in between each foil.
Step 4. Using Formulas A, B and C in that order, create vertical slices at the crown section, leaving out fine sections of hair in between each foil.
Step 5. Addressing the final two sections at the crown, apply Formulas A, B and C in that order, leaving out fine sections of hair in between each foil.
Step 6. Finished technique.
