Step 1. Brush the hair into a tight, high ponytail and wrap a strand of hair around the band. Use a smoothing/sculpting spray to ensure a clean, flawless finish.

Step 2. To create a fuller effect, use an oblongshaped hair pad.

Step 3. Affix the hair pad under the base of the ponytail.

Step 4. Separate the ponytail into two equal sections.

Step 5. Begin braiding by crisscrossing small, outside sections as shown.

Step 6. Secure the finished braid with a clear band.

Step 7. Pin the braid under the plait.

Step 8. Gently loosen the braid with your fingertips and secure with hairpins as shown.

Step 9. Finish and secure the hair with a light holding spray.
