Step 1 Beginning with clean, dry hair, make a side part. Create a three-strand braid on both sides of the part, while you work your way toward the back of the head.
Step 2 Loosen braided loops as shown. Secure braids together at the back/side of the head, llow, tight and close to the nape.
Step 3 Separate the resulting ponytail into three equal sections.
Step 3-1 Create three fishtail braids and secure with clear elastic bands.
Step 3-2 Holding on to a small section of hair at the end of each braid, grasp the braid with your other hand and push up to create a ruching effect.
Step 4 Wrap each braid around the base of the "ponytail" and secure with pins.
