1. Take a horseshoe section on top. Separate a fine (2 cm) section around the ear. This section will be cut later. Start the haircut on the side in front of the ear, by taking horizontal sections.
2-3. Continue behind the ear and work your way around the head towards the center of the back. Take diagonal sections and create a low graduation.
4. Repeat the same procedure on the right side.
5. Connect the two sides through the center of the back by checking carefully for the last details. Make sure the hair at the nape is short enough to support the shape.
6. Continue on top, connecting the back to the back to the longer top lengths. Do not worry about connecting the top lengths to the side as they will remain longer to overlap the sides. Note that the layers on top become longer as you move towards the face by over directing sections from front to crown area.
7. Check the longer top by combing it over the sides.
8. Blow-dry the hair in preparation for cutting the fringe, then separate a fine section, as we did around the ear.
9. Create a connection over the eye brow to the graduation on the side. Repeat for another 2 sections and then stop. Repeat on the right side.
10. Use a combination of pointing and slicing techniques.
