Zoom

Zoom collection is about a powerful force and inspiration was taken from the words vivid, fun, popping, fierce and 3 Dimensional.
Hair: Michelle Thompson
Salon: Francesco Group
Stylist: Huma Humayun
Photographer: Alessandro Cecchini
Make-up artist: Nicola Hamilton

The Models hair was relaxed and wefts were applied throughout the back and curls were applied to the mid lengths and ends to create a spiral effect. A wide panel was then taken down the centre, back-combed and smoothed flat to create a solid base for the added fishtail plait which was secured using grips. The sides were then smoothed down and around the head and secured in towards the back. The hair was then delicately teased.

To create this full bodied shape, natural curly hair was combed down and around from the crown. The hair was then pulled forward and a curved shape was cut around the face. Soft layers were added throughout the top. Colour was used to define the texture and density of the curls. A graduation of colour was used which was achieved by using a deep Aubergine tone, fusing into Red fire and a rich Copper. Product was applied and the hair was then dried using a diffuser.

A wig was made and a heavy horizontal fringe was created to work with the cheekbones and eyes. A graduated bob was then cut on an angle to compliment the jaw line.
4

Zoom

The hair was cut short towards the nape and layers were cut following the head shape. A rich Red velvet tone was used to enhance this short crop.
5

Zoom

To create this textured quiff, the hair was cut with short graduation throughout the back and sides. A technique called 'interlocking layers' were used on top to create a textured look. A rich Copper was used to enhance the hair cut.
6

Zoom

The hair was curled throughout and finger styled. A rich Chocolate tone was applied all over and infused with a honey tone to add texture and definition to the style.
7

Zoom

Short graduation was cut throughout the back and sides, and interlocking layers were created internally to create movement. A bold curved fringe was created to enhance the cheekbones and face shape. A rich copper tone was used to enhance the haircut.
8

Zoom

To achieve this super sleek look, the hair was cut from a shorter length at the back to a longer length towards the front. A blunt horizontal fringe was added to give the simple one length cut the finishing touch.

To achieve this textured up do, relaxed hair was barrel curled throughout the top and teased. The sides were smoothed off the face and secured through the back.

Natural curl can certainly be an intimidating hair type, but experience provides star stylists such as Sam Villa and Geneva Cowen with the knowledge to embrace this texture for its natural beauty. Curlicious was inspired by the unique fabric and range of textures that can be created on beauty buffs with curly locks.
