On Point
In its truest meaning, the French term avant garde is art before its time. Never seen before, innovative and groundbreaking just happen to be the niche of Aquage artist Tausha Ostrander. If the creation also needs to be complex, precise and perfect, no problem!
A unique collaboration between Tausha and her husband and architect, Cory Ostrander, allowed for these one-of-a-kind styles.
After Tausha sketched her designs, Cory recreated them in a 3-D design program that "prints" objects, which gave Tausha a solid foundation and fabulous shapes for her styles.

3. With designs as intricate as these, hair prep is essential.
Priming with Aquage SeaExtend Silkening Shampoo and Power Infusion gave the human hair wefts the pliability needed to mold perfectly around the forms, while Aquage Uplifting Foam provided the ideal level of hold.
After forming the shapes with Aquage Working Spray and a ceramic flat iron, Tausha used Aquage Finishing Spray and Beyond Shine to lock in the final styles.
4. As a successful salon owner, Tausha's primary role is to help clients find their ideal aesthetic identity, but just as important to her is the ability to express her creative spirit through the medium of hair.
Honored to have her first cover and editorial story, Tausha shares, "I love HOT and the fact that they have created a platform to showcase hair artists' visions and expressive potentials."
