Inspiration: Sherri Jessee was inspired by the much anticipated release of Baz Luhrmann's 3-D movie inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's legendary book, "The Great Gatsby."
Bio: With a unique and feminine approach to beauty, Sherri Jessee has gained recognition as an internationally renowned hair and makeup artist. With more than 25 years of experience as a successful salon owner, stylist, and platform artist, Jessee has topnotch talent in hair, makeup, fashion editorial and runway work. Other achievements include being recognized as a "Woman of Style" and being listed among the "Top 20 Platform Artists" by industry experts.

Inspiration: The underwater hair designs featured in "Sea Sirens" drew inspiration from the vivid, luscious bright colors that were key to the fashion scene, cosmetics and hair that was trending for summer 2012.
Bio: As both a salon owner and commercial stylist/colorist, Velbeck has a busy and artistic life. Working with clients at her Maryl V. Salon truly keeps this stylist/colorist connected to what's trending. Upon graduation from cosmetology school, Velbeck set her sights on a photography degree, so that it would enable her to truly "see" hair and create the captivating looks found in glossy fashion magazines. Why underwater? Underwater and undersea photography is a passion, which grew out of Velbeck's love of ocean conservation.

Inspiration: "The black and leather clothing set off pale, cool colored hairstyles that feature haircutting, texture , and braiding, as well as a disheveled quality with lots of movement," says Price. "I wanted the soft hair to be an unexpected contrast to the tough punk wardrobe."
Bio: Charlie Price is a platform artist and NAHA regular-he even co-hosted the ceremony in 2010. This year he has garnered four more nominations and is at a career total of 22 nominations. Price is a two-time North American Hairstylist of the Year winner (2002 and 2008); NAHA People's Choice award winner (2011) and International Hairstylist of the Year (2007). Beyond having his work published worldwide, Price has created hot hair looks for New York City's Fashion Week, collaborating with renowned designers such as Jason Wu, Cynthia Rowley, Jeremy Scott, and Charlotte Ronson, among others. He also serves as International Creative Consultant for Scruples Haircare.

Inspiration: "I was lucky enough to be hired on this amazing team by my friends at the Improper Bostonian to participate in this bridal shoot, and through their ideas on clothing and sets I started thinking about really classic beauty hair, so as to not overshadow the untraditional wedding dresses," says Michael Albor.
Bio: Michael Albor's salon specializes in color and form hairdressing. His artistic ability and vision translates into a truly modern look. While Albor has rave reviews in all aspects of hair care-from haircuts to extensions and event updos-color and form are his true passions.
