On April 7, Brig Van Osten was revealed as the third and latest winner of Bravo's Shear Genius competition. But triumphing over thousands of applicants - and a few snarky fellow contes-tants - is never an easy road. In fact, the canary-haired stylist was turned down when she audition for Season 2 of Shear Genius. When she came back to compete for a spot on Season 3, she was ready: "I took that year to make myself a better candidate for the show."
