Super Texture
Disheveled texture, created by stylist Jenny Balding, was the look worn by models at the 5:31 Jérôme show in New York City
5:31 Jérôme's edgy looking models flaunted a disheveled texturized look like supermodel Cindy Crawford donned in the 90s
Stylist Jenny Balding styled the hair of the models who paraded down the runway at the 5:31 Jérôme SS14 debut collection during New York Fashion Week.
Collaborating with the designer to take the concept of fusing luxury with street, Balding created a slightly disheveled look with a 90's feel.
"This is an excellent way to create perfectly disheveled texture-think Cindy Crawford in her supermodel heyday," says Jenny Balding.
Here's How
- Prep hair with Redken rootful 06 root lifting spray from roots to mid-length and blow dry it to create lots of volume.
- Create movement and a slight wave by using a 3/4" curling iron. Take large sections to create slight wave texture. Shake it out.
- Apply Redken powder grip 03 to the roots.
- Sweep over to one side in a loose manner and this will create a deep side part.
