For Art's Sake
On July 22, beauty professionals from international destinations across the globe will gather at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, to celebrate the artistry and skill of professional hairstylists and makeup artists at the Awards Ceremony for the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA). Beyond announcing the shining stars of the 13 NAHA categories, the ceremony will feature five artistic presentations from some of the industry's most esteemed stylists. Fusing fashion, music, makeup and first-rate artistic hairstyles, the overall energy of the artistic presentations will add to the excitement of the awards ceremony. The five artistic presentations include:
Eli Mancha, 2011 Hairstylist of the Year: The current title holder of NAHA's top honor is invited to present an artistic presentation of his choice. As a platform artist and educator, Mancha is certainly well versed in the fine artistry of hair. His high energy presentation will be themed Sinners & Saints.
P&G Salon Professional: Including the industry's top young talent from some of the most celebrated brands, this presentation will feature the creative work of stylists who are representing the P&G Salon Professional brands.
Cloud Nine Hair USA: Merging high fashion with modern edge, Cloud Nine's creative team will showcase looks from their newest collection while captivating the NAHA audience with one of their first runway shows in the U.S.
