Madonna's Winning Style
When Madonna pulled together her glamorous look for the Golden Globe Awards, she yearned for a sophisticated yet easy style. "Madonna wanted easy, natural textured hair," says celebrity stylist Andy LeCompte, who is a member of the Wella Professionals team.
To achieve Madonna's effortless look, LeCompte first rough-dried her tresses, manipulating and emphasizing the Material Girl's natural texture. He then sprayed a light mist of Wella's Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray to protect her hair from thermal heat and create some texture. LeCompte reveals that he let this product work its magic prior to using his FHI platform 1 inch flat iron to create the soft "S" formations, which created a natural wave texture. He finished off Madonna's look with a mist of Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray. One of Andy's favorite products, he says that he uses Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray to break up the texture.
