Playboy Looks
SureThik Hair Thickening products were used to style the ultra sexy hairstyles flaunted at the annual Playboy Mansion Party in California’s posh Beverly Hills area. More than 3,000 guests mingled about in one of the sexiest and most dazzling Halloween spectacles.
Complete Hair & Beauty Care By Team Indulge, CEO of Team Indulge, Olga Loera who is also Miss December 2013 Playboy, Mexico coordinated all of the beauty necessities for the Playboy brand. Through Loera and Team Indulge, celebrity hairstylist and SureThik educator Nevio Persia was invited to work as part of Team Indulge Canada.
“This was my first year at the event,” says Persia. “I was stunned with the magnitude of this spectacular Playboy event. I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life with so many beautiful people and so many amazing costumes. Playboy went full out on this event. There were 20 hairdressers in total, styling the Playmates’ hair into full and sexy creations.”
Various stations were set up for hair, makeup and beauty preparation and of course, countless Playboy Playmates participated in the beauty bonanza. The SureThik Thickening Foam, mist and fibers were used to achieve high buns, upstyle designs or looks tied back in a high crown. Their volumizing hair fibers were instrumental in creating each erotic look. Persia had the pleasure of applying SureThik Hair Thickening Fibers and haircare products on many Playmates including Miss Jamie Michelle, Lina Martini and Khloe Terae—a Playboy Playmate representing six countries. Terae was Miss February 2013 Playboy Mexico, Playmate Miss April 2013 from Greece, Miss August 2013 from Venezuela and Miss June 2013 Playboy South Africa.
Stylists can now easily achieve the va-voom volume of a Playboy playmate. Without vibrancy and bounce, hair tends to cling close to the head, often looking flat and lifeless. Salon professionals provide several resources for styles and methods using SureThik that help bring out the best qualities in hair.
“Regular haircuts are required to avoid split-ends,” says Persia. “Frizzy ends only deepen the appearance of insufficient volume. In general, shorter or medium length hairstyles are better suited for thin hair and provide more bounce. Pixie or bob haircuts tend to look more voluminous. For a long hair look consider a layer-cut as layers help shape and boost hair. “
