CONTRAST is the secret of great photographers, who use it to make images leap off the page. Showing rough against sleek and fresh against classic architecture, Luis Alvarez, photographer and co-founder of Aquage, uses contrast as the defining element for his latest work of art, Contrasto.
One more interesting element: The zigzagging light was created by Alvarez's own hand cupping a light source!
Undulating waves were thermally designed using Aquage Working Spray; basket-woven ribbon was created with Defining Gel. aquage.com

In the making of Evocation, stylist Ari Koponen was inspired by different warrior types such as Joan of Arc-strong female characters with a sense of spirit.
The southern part of the Swedish west coast was selected as the ideal backdrop to highlight this earthy collection. Of course, everything was styled outdoors to give the collection a true nature spirit.
